The Guessing Game
Ismail, one of the kids, said, “Nasruddin, are you any good at guessing games?”
“Sure I am,” Nasruddin said. “Try me.”
“Now you guess what’s in my pocket,” said Ismail.
“Oh, give me a hint.”
“Okay,” said Ismail, “it’s smooth and oval, white on the outside and yellow inside, and it tastes good.”
“Oooh, that’s a tough one,” said Nasruddin. “Another hint?”
“It’s shaped like an egg.”
“Hmm. Let me take a wild guess: is it a piece of cake?”
“No, Nasruddin, that’s wrong. Try again.”
“Okay, let’s see. Oh, I know! It’s a hollowed-out turnip filled with a carrot!”
