Self-Evident Efficacy
Nasruddin’s mother discovered the boy as he was throwing handfuls of sesame seeds around the yard.
When she asked what he was doing, Nasruddin answered, “Sesame is an effective large cat repellant, Mother. Keeps the tigers away.”
“But there are no tigers in these parts except in the circus,” chided his mother.
“See what I mean? It works!”
Of course there are no tigers where I have spread my seeds in my own backyard. That is how I know my precious seeds are effective at keeping the beasts far away — because you can’t argue with results!
